My name is Jason Pon. I am the independent owner of Patient Care Pharmacy. I was born and raised in Viking, AB.
I graduated with the class of 2000 from the University of Alberta Faculty of Pharmacy. Coming from a small town,
I feel strongly about being a part of the community and getting to know you and your family. I have the knowledge
and experience to help manage your medications, to promote health and well being. I have my additional prescribing authorization which allows me to prescribe certain prescription medications when
appropriate/necessary. I am also certified to administer injections; I can inject most vaccinations as well as
Vitamin B12, allergy serums and medications.
I am committed to providing great service to each and every patient coming to my pharmacy. I feel this is
achieved through clear communication and accountability for all the advice and prescriptions given out. I look forward to meeting you and becoming your pharmacist.

I am passionate about continuing education and have been taking many courses to upgrade my knowledge and keep up with new developments in the pharmaceutical field. I am authorized to administer drugs by injection.
Outside of work, I am a busy wife with three grown daughters. My free time is devoted to family and pursuing my interests. I enjoy walking my two dogs, hiking, cooking and gardening.
LindsayKnight (Staff Pharmacist)
Hi, I'm Lindsay Knight. I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy (with Distinction). I've been enjoying a rewarding career in community pharmacy ever since. I've also done contract work with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.
I have a personal interest in fitness & nutrition and I am a proponent of the belief that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" (Benjamin Franklin). Travel is another passion of mine, and I strive to one day obtain a Certificate in Travel Health with the International Society of Travel Medicine. I am currently a certified injection pharmacist and am able to administer travel vaccines prescribed to you by your doctor. I love working at Patient Care Pharmacy and I hope to be helpful in your quest to lead a healthy and happy life!
CrystalRiddell (Pharmacy Assistant)
At the end of 2004, I completed my Pharmacy Technician Program in my hometown of Kelowna, BC. For the past 8 years, I have been working in the pharmacy sector in both hospital and community settings. I have
been a Pharmacy Assistant at Patient Care Pharmacy for the past year and a half.
I enjoy working in a community pharmacy because it allows me to deal with patients on a more personal level.
Patient Care Pharmacy has outstanding service, their pharmacy team has been taking care of my medication needs for the past 2 years!
Jason has been part of our medical team for over 15 years. We have followed him to his present location because of his knowledge, dedication, his genuine caring of his patients’ care and his readiness to share information. He is never too busy to explain things. He is never condescending and always, always has a smile. As well, if you cannot get to him, he will come to you. Now that's a pharmacist! His professionalism is unimpeachable.
Pierre and Sylvia Lafontane
Jason Pon is one of the most knowledgeable and caring
pharmacists I've ever met. He always listens attentively to my medical concerns, thoroughly goes through prescriptions, and willingly shares his expertise. Jason goes out of his way for his clients. I will follow him to any location as as he's the best! Thanks Jason!
Aside from being exceptionally knowledgeable in the field, Jason truly cares about his patients and goes over and beyond in making sure his patients receive the care that they need.
